FAQs

Asset Management

  • What does “fiduciary-only asset management” mean?

It means we act in your best interest at all times—no commission-based sales, no conflicts of interest—only transparent decisions intended to align your investments with your goals and risk tolerance.

  • How do you decide which investments to include in a portfolio?

We begin by evaluating your financial goals, time horizon, risk tolerance, and tax situation. Then we design a diversified portfolio using mutual funds, ETFs, and other tools to match those inputs, rebalancing periodically as needed.

  • What kinds of fees are involved, and how are they structured?

Fees are transparent and typically asset-based; you’ll know up front what you’re paying for portfolio management. There are no hidden commissions or unexpected charges—just clear, consistent fee arrangements.

  • How frequently will you review and adjust my portfolio?

We regularly monitor your portfolio and perform reviews at least annually—or sooner if there are major changes in the market, tax laws, or your personal circumstances.

  • What protections are in place against risk and market downturns?

Risk management is built into the portfolio design via diversification, strategic asset allocation, and stress testing. We also collaborate with your tax and legal advisors to mitigate tax impacts and other risks.

  • Can you help with tax efficiency in my investment strategy?

Yes. Part of our process is coordinating with your tax professionals to reduce taxable events (such as minimizing capital gains distributions, considering tax-loss harvesting, or optimizing asset locations) while maintaining diversification and growth potential.

  • How do you communicate performance and what can I expect?

You’ll receive regular reports (quarterly or as agreed) showing how your portfolio is performing vs. benchmarks, what changes have been made, and any opportunities or concerns we’re monitoring.

  • Is there a minimum account size to engage in your asset management services?

We work with a variety of clients. While some strategies may be more efficient at larger scales, our service is designed to be flexible so that many families and business owners can benefit regardless of their size of assets.
