Avidity Capital Inc. Estate Planning 9 questions September 2026

Before You Start

Answer honestly, and treat "not sure" as its own answer; it usually means no one in the family is sure, which is itself the finding. Your answers stay on this page: nothing is saved, sent, or seen by us. When you finish, each gap comes with a plain explanation of what it means and where to read more.

1.Do you have a revocable living trust?

2.Is your home, and any land you own, actually deeded in the name of the trust?

3.Are the beneficiary designations on retirement accounts and life insurance current and coordinated with the plan?

4.Do you have a durable power of attorney for finances?

5.Do you (and your spouse, if married) have an advance health care directive and a HIPAA authorization?

6.Does every child over 18 have their own directive, HIPAA authorization, and power of attorney?

7.Do the people you named, successor trustee, agents, executor, know they were named and where the documents are?

8.Has an attorney or adviser reviewed the plan in the last three years, or since your last major life change?

9.Could your family explain who inherits what, and at what ages, without opening the binder?

Answers never leave this page. Nothing is saved or sent.
